Too often, boaters treat onboard meals as an afterthought. In a best-case scenario, they might pack sandwiches or tapas-style appetizers; at worst, they grab a couple of bags of chips or pretzels and call it a day. In the latter case, their crew and guests might mutiny and abandon ship for the nearest waterfront bar and grill.

In the latter case, their crew and guests might mutiny and abandon ship for the nearest waterfront bar and grill.
Magma's "Marine Kettle 2" combination stove and gas grill is a great choice for pontooners. First of all, thanks to its turbo venturi and valve system, it's virtually windproof. It includes a front-mounted piezo igniter, as well as a new, patented burner and heat distribution system; the burner directs more heat to the cooking surface, which evens out heat distribution and adds years of life to the grill.
The 15-inch grill also has marine-grade stainless exterior finish for superior corrosion resistance; a full, double-lined inner safety shell to keep its outside surface cooler; a polished stainless "Stay Cool" handle with air-cooled supports; and an expertly balanced, hinged lid that won't slam shut if the boat rolls with a passing wake.
What's more, Magma's patented plate and dome system makes this the only boat grill that is truly triple-function: It's a grill, stove and convection oven all in one. That's like having a full-service galley on deck, but without losing all that valuable deck space.
Convenience is the name of the game with this outstanding grill. It features a new cast stainless indexing bracket and clamp to provide easier mounting, and it uses standard, disposable, 1-pound propane canisters. And that newly designed valve system adjusts left, right, inboard or outboard for easy heat control access and fuel-bottle changeover.
Mounts and fuel canisters are sold separately, so make sure you have everything in hand before casting off the docklines. Magma also has an impressive selection of mounting options and accessories, should you decide to customize your setup.
