Pontoon Boat Guide - Your Guide to On-Water Fun!

I'm Mr. FixIt and I'm here to teach you how to troubleshoot, make your own routine repairs and do preventative maintenance to your pontoon boat, outboard or stern drive engine and trailer. Follow along with me on this journey and you will quickly gain confidence in your abilities while saving a ton of cash in the process.

I will start with very simple procedures in the beginning and work up to more complex tasks as you become more knowledgeable. There will likely always be some complex services that you will want your dealer to perform that will require special tools, time or training to perform. But most pontoon maintenance is fun, easy and can be performed at home.

Mr. FixIt's Rating System - Each of the repairs and maintenance issues covered will be graded for difficulty to help you decide whether you want to attempt it or not.
